One of the biggest acts in the French house scene, Justice come to Shanghai for their first ever show in China. They were signed to the pivotal label Ed Banger Records after the club success of their first single, We Are Your Friends, and followed that with remix work for Daft Punk, N*E*R*D, Franz Ferdinand, Fatboy Slim and trillions of other acts, before releasing a their first album, †, which won them Grammy nominations and worldwide success. Still producing and remixing, the rock-funk-punk-house duo will DJ at Bar Rouge on December 7. Tickets are steep, but this will be a huge show.

Tickets: 380 yuan (“early bird”, until sold out), then its 420rmb. 500rmb at the door (limited availability)

Bar Rouge

Bar Rouge is the most famous club in Shanghai, and sets the standard for Bund nightlife, with its terrace view, classy, sleek interiors and iconic French-Shanghai identity. Bar Rouge kicks off the weekend early with themed parties on Thursdays (see SmSh’s Upcoming Listings for details) and always runs early in the morning on Friday and Saturday. A must-visit for out-of-towners sampling the high end of Shanghai nightlife.
