On April 17, Alterfutures, a London-based bimonthly meet-up “exploring speculative design projects that question received expectations of the future and propose compelling alternatives,” will hit Shanghai with a special satellite event hosted by Cher Potter at Xindanwei. With a list of great speakers from Speck Design, New Territories Studio, Xindanwei and more, the event will definitely be one not to miss for anyone in Shanghai interested in subjects as diverse as speculative design, alternate visions of the future, and science fiction.
